Work

As stated on the home page, other than working in oil production for six years with Alta Mesa Resources, I hadn't really found a home professionally.

The remaining five years between my original days at State and 2020 were filled out as a:

After attending Texas State University from 2004-2009 and acquiring a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts-Creative Writing degree, I sought out to work odd jobs, pin myself into difficult situations with interesting people, and write about the pitfalls of idealism mixed with a healthy dose of poor planning. However romantic that ill-advised plan was, it certainly didn't end up being professionally fruitful.

For my second time through Texas State University, I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Advertising with hopes of immediately jumping into the industry.

I've always found advertising both terribly annoying as well as extremely fascinating. Seeing as how my fictional hopes have, more or less, been smothered by a lack of interest from publishers, I aim to tell different types of stories involving products and consumers.

Currently, while attending school full-time, I've been rounding out my days as a part-time contractor. Often times, I get to work with a few of my long-time friends that I made while originally attending Texas State University fifteen years ago.

In 2020, everyone has had to make adjustments and I'm lucky to have capable friends that make projects as fun and worthwhile as they are rewarding.
